Peter Gilmore
Peter
Gilmore is a 1973 graduate of Rutgers University Law
School. He directs the
firm’s practice in the areas of Estate Planning, including long-term
care planning and asset protection, and Estate Administration.
Peter has lived in Beverly with his wife, Elane, and their children, Maghan
and Fir, for more than 20 years.
A strong advocate of volunteerism, Peter has served his community in many different ways. He offers a free legal clinic four times a year at the Beverly Council on Aging, he is a past President of the Beverly Lions Club, past Chairman of the United Way of the Central North Shore, past Chairman of the City of Beverly Conservation Commission and past co-chair of the Community Oriented Policing Leadership Council. Peter has also held leadership positions with the Beverly High School Music Parents’ Association, the Abraham Glovsky Unit of B’nai B’rith, and Temple B’nai Abraham.
Peter served for six years as a member of the Beverly City Council, including two years as President, and was the head of the City of Beverly legal department for two years. He is a member of the Essex County and Salem Bar Associations and the Essex Estate Planning Council.
